Google Places Questions Answered

We've been all over Google Places recently (figuratively, not literally). We posted our guide to claiming your Google Places Listing, then we also posted our guide to optimising your Google Places listing.

Well since Google Local Business Center became Google Places last April it seems to have become an increasingly valuable tool for many businesses. After all, a free means of advertising your business to its local area is a compelling prospect for many people.

The Google Places team also took the time to setup a Google Moderator page, for product ideas, questions users have had about their Google Places listing and general questions about Google Places operation.

It looks like some of those questions have been given the full audio-visual treatment, with answers given by Google Places team members on YouTube videos. The videos have a slightly new-to-YouTube earthy rustic style but the topics raised will help many:
