Google Gives Everyone The Chance To Have A ‘Superbowl Ad’ on YouTube

Remember that advert that Google displayed during the Superbowl? Well, if you are in the UK then you probably don’t as we don’t tend to get those ads, but I’ll bet you remember seeing it on YouTube. It was the one with the slightly sentimental search based story called “Parisian Love”. Still don’t remember it? Well I’ll embed it here:

It now seems Google has decided that everyone should have the opportunity to create their own interpretation of said ad with a surprisingly effective Search Stories Video Creator. This allows anyone to input a number of search terms and have them turned into a superbowl-like advert that user can even upload to YouTube. It’s quite an impressively simple setup, just enter your search terms and select some slightly inappropriate music and chuckle the afternoon away.

YouTube LogoNow this obviously has scope for hilariously unintended consequences, but the bar is already pretty high for spoof remakes of this ad – this is a cracker.

Are you convinced and want to have a go yourself? Head over to the Search Stories Video Creator page on YouTube.
