This week in a surprising team-up, Wolfram Alpha and IMDB have got together to bring you a ‘find your favourite movie’ service. The genius of the Wolfram Alpha search function seems to know no bounds and we have got special access to the algorithm that works this all out.
According to the records so far the most popular results are Jaws and The Empire Strikes Back. The working out behind it is pretty tricky but it’s proven to work every time.
First, pick a number from 1-9.
Multiply this by 3.
Add 3 to that number.
Multiply by 3 again.
Add the 2 digits together to get the number of your all time favourite movie.
Finally, choose your number from the links below to see your all time favourite film.
