If you are a regular reader of this blog then you will know I always try to keep you up to date with all the latest webmasters videos that answer all your related questions about SEO and such like in relation to the Google search engine.
However I’m getting slightly concerned at some of the stupid questions that Matt Cutts seem to be choosing to answer as of late. I think that the small fame that Matt has seemed to have acquired over the years might be going to his head. He seems to be answering personal questions on such topics as what games he plays, is he a fan of Star Trek or Star Wars and my personal favourite Why do cats’ bums go up when you stroke them? That ones actually very funny. I have included it at the bottom of this post for your viewing pleasure.
What Matt seems to be forgetting is that these videos are not about him. He is a voice for Google in these videos and these questions are meant to be directed at Google.
I’m sure Matt would argue that these are questions that have been put on Google moderator and are what people have asked to be answered. However I don’t believe these are the questions that are important. My advice to the people who are asking these questions is to go to Matt Cutts blog and direct these kinds of questions there. I would like to thank Matt however for the tip to play Machinarium, your right it is a very good game.
I think MelvinBout put it best on YouTube when he said:
Just tell us something interesting, some big secret about seo or something!
What do you think? Do you agree or are these the kind of questions you want to be answered? Then let us know in the usual manner. Or do you have any silly questions you would like to ask Matt? Mine would be “how much money are you saving on hairdressing bills these days?”
