With the new updated OS, Android 2.2 is making things faster with a host of new features.

The most noteworthy is the addition of Flash 10.1 support, which until HTML5 comes into its own will remain the top method of displaying video and advanced functionality online. Furthermore the update allows you to run your phone as a wireless hotspot.

Aside from these prime additions, the update also provides improved functionality in a variety of other areas such as an improved setup for the cameras features. This provides a far smoother interface for taking and arranging pictures with better organisation of options and menus.

In terms of security, Google have finally added the ability to input pin codes for you device, as opposed to the old pattern locking function. Furthermore, there have been a variety of updates to other services such as Gmail and calendar functionality.
