URL

URL is an acronym for Uniform Resource Locator and is more commonly referred to as a web address. Webmasters should always try and keep URLs as understandable and memorable as possible. This means that if users like the site they will likely be able to remember the address and return to the site directly. Using URLs that contain PHP or SQL search queries should also be avoided as keyword related URLs have the potential to rank higher in search engines.
 

User Generated Content (UGC)

With the massive rise in popularity of social media websites there is a huge quantity of user generated content being added to the internet every day.
 

Unethical SEO

Unethical SEO, also called black hat SEO, is any form of deceptive search engine optimisation. This can include keyword stuffing, cloaking, link farming and numerous other techniques. Although it can sometimes yield quick results search engines are constantly getting better at spotting these techniques and will heavily penalise or ban any offending websites. Webmasters should always opt to use ethical SEO techniques.
